Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday stormed the ex Imo state governor’s residence at Maitama, Abuja to arrest him.
Sporadic gunshots were said to have been heard during the invasion of Rochas Okorocha’s .
EFCC had explained that the ex governor of Imo state jumped an administrative bail he was granted and had refused to honour its invitations.
Minutes the operatives broke in, the senator went on a live video on his official Facebook page, said that the officials of EFCC has broken all his bulletproof proof doors .
He said, “The EFCC operatives are here with some gunmen and they have broken all my bulletproof doors. This may be my last appearance because I don’t know what they want to do.
The officials later got in to his house forcefully through the ceiling and he was arrested and whisked away.
