Nana Hadiza, President Muhammadu Buhari’s 3rd daughter from his first wife Safinatu and the Attorney General of the Federation and the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami tied the knot in a private Nikkai ceremony today, Friday July 8, 2022, at the presidential Villa.
Nana Hadiza, aged 41, was married to Abdulrahman Mamman Kurfi. The union produced 6 children before the collapse of the marriage.
With Hadiza’s recent marriage to Malami, she becomes the third wife of the minister, after Aisha and Fatima.
Malami was appointed as AGF and minister of justice after President Buhari won the election in 2015 — he was re-appointed on August 21, 2019.
The wedding was attended by close family members of Malami and Buhari and also some top Government officials.
Sources said it was devoid of fanfare due to the current happenings in the country.
