As part of the measures to curb terroriam and insecurity in Nigeira, the National Security Council is outlawing motorcycles and mining activities.
Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, while addressing reporters after a meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, said investigation was ongoing to establish correlation between mining and motorcycles as instruments to aid insurgency.
He noted that terrorists have moved from the conventional ways of funding their activities to mining and ransom taking.
Joined by the minister of Interior, Mr Rauf Aregbesola, they hinted that plans were on to sanction those whose inactions led to the recent Kuje jailbreak.
