Three more Chibok School Girls have escaped from Boko Haram captivity in Sambisa Forest and are presently with the Headquarters, Joint Task Force, North East, Operation Hadin Kai in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The girls, Ruth Bitrus, 24 years old, Hannatu Musa, 26 and Kauna Luka, 25 were received by the military after spending 8 years with their abductors who later married them.
Apart from Hannatu Musa who came out of the bush with two children, Ruth Bitrus and Kauna Luka both have a kid each.
It could be recalled that on the night of 14th April 2014, 276 girls, mostly Christian female students, aged between 16 and 18 were kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorist group from the Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok in Borno State, while they were in Senior Secondary School Class 3.
They say they are eager to meet their parents and members of their families.
They also say that they would want to return, to further their education.
The Theatre Commander of the Joint Task Force, North East, Operation Hadin Kai, Major General Christopher Musa, assured Nigerians of their commitment to get more of the girls out, including Leah Sharibu.
