The Labour Party Vice Presidential Candidate Yusuf Datti Ahmed and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and others on Tuesday sent birthday wishes to the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Yusuf Datti, Atiku, Ben Bruce showered Obi with love as they celebrate him at 61.
Yusuf Datti took to his social media handles calling Obi a great man of the people.
“Happy birthday H.E Mr. Peter Obi.
A great man of the people.
Full of humbleness and kindness.
So veracious”
“As you turns 61 today, God will bless you more and more because you’re already a blessing.”
“I and my family extends our warm greetings to you on this special day in your life. More celebrations to you.” Datti wrote.
Atiku also wishes Obi many more years in good health and vitality.
In a tweet, the former Vice President described the former Anambra State governor as his good friend.
Obi was the former running mate to Atiku when he contested for the presidential election in 2019 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Atiku and Obi have maintained a cordial relationship despite being contenders in the presidential race.
The former Anambra State governor had attended Atiku’s declaration for presidency a few months ago.
Asked why he was at the event, given he was eyeing the same position, Obi said, “This is a new politics. I play politics differently. For me, politics is not a war. It’s a relationship.
Ben Bruce also celebrated Obi as he clock 61 years on his social media handles calling him my good friend.
“Happy birthday, my good friend and presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi. I wish you long life and prosperity.”
The former Anambra State governor and Labour Party Presidential Candidate was born on July 19, 1961.
