This represents a 0.11% increase compared to Wednesday’s rate of N463.75. The open indicative rate closed at N463.50 to the dollar on Thursday, while a spot exchange rate of N466 was used for trading within the day before settling at N463.25.
Naira Trades at N460 to the Dollar as Spot Exchange Rate is Determined Instantly
On Thursday, the Nigerian naira was traded for as low as N460 to the dollar in the day’s trading at the official Investors’ and Exporters’ window, as the spot exchange rate was determined instantly. According to the Nigerian News Agency (NAN), a total of 101.45 million dollars was traded during the day’s trading.
